MyHouse Australia is a family-owned and operated homewares and bedding business with over 40 retail stores throughout NSW, Australia.

The team at MyHouse is committed to developing the highest quality homewares which represent excellent value.

After being successful for almost 60 years in bricks and mortar, MyHouse decided to expand through an eCommerce platform.

Some of my key responsibilities included:

  • Led transition to new web development agency, which included familiarisation with custom-built website code connecting POS to Magento platform and heading multiple eCommerce web development projects to restore and improve processes (including loyalty program, email marketing, abandoned cart series functionality and database cleanup)
  • Enabled customer service team to deliver continuous service during high-traffic periods by implementing processes and systems (including Zendesk)
  • Streamlined logistics to allow for growth by implementing Shippit, including solution identification and proposal, project management, process development and staff training
  • Developed and implemented social media strategy
  • Worked closely with digital agency to implement retargeting, SEO and Adwords strategies
